Starting the day in God’s word starts your day right. I’ve noticed that when I start my day off with God, I tend to be more aligned with God’s will in my life. As a result, I’m a more content, peaceful, calm, and grounded person.
There are practical ways to start your day with God. Set a time, place, and gather the things you need to be successful. As someone once said, “a goal without a plan is just a wish”. Make a plan and execute the plan.

Praying over yourself and your family is crucial. It’s important to remember the roles the Bible lays out for us within the family. By being obedient and praying these things, you’ll start to see God move in ways you never thought imaginable.

- 1 Corinthians 13:4-8 – “Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. - Isaiah 50:4 – “The Sovereign Lord has given me a well-instructed tongue, to know the word that sustains the weary. He wakens me morning by morning, wakens my ear to listen like one being instructed.” (NIV).
